I wonder if there is a Thunderbird with all those functionalities already integrated with the required plugins, As I don’t have the time to customize them for me. Integration with Caldav for iPhone synchronization, Automatic signature with graphic logo, language spelling in three languages, decent HTML support and text formatting, decent contacts management, search within email folders, real offline support, handling in a visible way email attachment… Evolution does somehow all of the mentioned but not completely, why Thunderbird (that, by the way, supports calendar with CalDAV only recently) to have all this stuff working you need to explore a lot of plugins and test them.
